Whether you’re looking for basic obedience or specialized training, our expert trainers are dedicated to providing tailored solutions to enhance your dog’s behavior and strengthen your bond.
Dog Obedience Training
Our dog obedience training courses are designed to teach your dog essential skills and improve communication between you and your pet. Our two-week on-leash obedience course includes key skills like recall, sit, down, place, kennel, and loose leash walking. During this course, dogs will learn to respond to cues and rewards while gaining a strong understanding of leash mechanics. We also offer a one-hour send-home lesson and two free private follow-up lessons to ensure continued progress after the course ends.
For those who want to take their dog’s obedience to the next level, our two-week off-leash obedience course follows the on-leash program. This course includes an e-collar, a one-hour send-home lesson, and four free private follow-up lessons. By the end of the course, your dog will be able to respond reliably to commands off-leash, making outdoor adventures more enjoyable and controlled.

Upland Gun Dog Training
For those who want to train their dog for upland hunting or field work, we offer a comprehensive gun dog training program. This program is designed for dogs aged six months and older, combining physical conditioning, obedience training, and fieldwork.

In the beginner program, pointing dogs will learn recall, sit, “whoa,” heel, place, kennel, and field work to be steady to flush. This three-month program also offers the option to add a trained retrieve to place (“fetch” on cue), which typically requires an additional month.

Flushing dogs will learn recall, sit, place, kennel, heel, and field work. The focus will be on working within gun range, following the handler’s cues, and learning to stay steady in the field.

For more advanced training, we offer a program for pointing dogs that focuses on steadiness to wing, shot, and fall. This in-depth program requires an additional three to six months of training and is intended to be geared toward clients who are interested in AKC hunt testing and NAVHDA testing. For flashing dogs, they are taught to whistle sit and sit at the flush. Directional casting can be taught during this time as well. The program builds on the skills learned in the beginner course, enhancing the dog’s performance in the field and providing a more polished hunting companion.
